Job Summary
The Specialist, Operations drives operational performance by implementing training actions that improve business results and ensure the Company’s Leasing and Property Management (LPM) functions are operated consistently and effectively. Works with stakeholders to ensure understanding of and compliance with operational policy & processes. Also assists with the implementation of new or revised operational policies, processes, and procedures. Additionally, will identify areas of improvement and technology solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness and provide feedback to leadership.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Educates, coaches, and mentors centralized support and local market Leasing and Property Management associates to ensure understanding of and adherence to practices and standards to optimize performance and compliance.
- Facilitates (or executes through train-the-trainer programs) in-person training within assigned region/geographic area.
- Works to continuously improve operational service level standards, workflow expansion and optimization to streamline Leasing and Property Management operations and to ensure timely and accurate performance.
- Assists with execution of role-based onboarding programs.
- Prepares and provides routine feedback to stakeholders regarding associate improvement opportunities and participates in relevant implementation projects or activities.
- Builds relationships with departments across the company to enhance information flow and problem solving.
- Establishes rapport and credibility through regular communications and interactions with market and operational support associates.
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in leasing and/or property management or a related field is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Yardi and Salesforce required
- LPM experience within Invitation Homes or similar SFR company is preferred
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
- Excellent organizational, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Strong interpersonal, coaching and mentoring skills, extroverted with an engaging people focused demeanor with an infectious, positive attitude that inspires others
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations or documents with a similar degree of complexity
- Ability to work independently (self-accountability) and as a member of various teams with sound judgment and ability
Physical and Mental Demands
This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate. Work Environment
Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times.
Salary Range
$43,725.00 - $72,875.00Compensation and Benefits
