The Property Compliance Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating efforts of the Property Compliance team for the assigned market(s), ensuring market adherence to HOA or Municipality rules and regulations, and expediting curing of compliance issues. This position assists in the daily functions of ensuring property compliance. The Property Compliance Supervisor plays an essential role in the execution of processes and strategy towards increasing efficiency and effectiveness in meeting department goals.
What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise associate(s) towards market goals
Provide oversight and direction to associate(s) working in the business unit
Collaborate with market leadership and corporate personnel to monitor and facilitate the resolution of compliance items using resources available
Establish relationships and ensure effective communication with HOAs, management companies and municipalities
Oversee the administrative functions concerning licensing, registrations, inspections, Business Tax Registration and any other municipal mandated administrative tasks
Attend hearings arranged by HOAs or Municipalities pertaining to compliance matters if necessary
Interact and communicate with team members explaining escalated concerns when additional assistance is necessary
Ensure proper execution of workflows and data integrity in the technology systems of record
Who We’re Looking For
High School or GED required, college degree preferred
Minimum two years of customer service and/or HOA/property management experience
2+ years managing other people (2+ direct reports)
Familiarity with federal fair housing laws and applicable local housing provisions
Ability to multitask using a variety of IT platforms simultaneously
Knowledge of Yardi and/or Salesforce is preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft software applications
Ability to solve problems constructively
Ability to work with limited supervision, "self-motivated"
Works well with others in a team environment, "team-player"
Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external
Proficient verbal and writing skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with accuracy
