Job Summary

Reports directly to the Vice President of Procurement.  The National Manager, RTM Field Support is responsible for management of the company fleet vehicle program and related activities.  Including, but not limited to safety performance, vehicle inventory, vehicle recycling, repair & maintenance, external vendors, standard operating procedures, efficiencies, cost savings, reporting, and budgeting.  Role requires ability to analyze information, create and implement programs, and communicate with organizational stakeholders. This position will also play a lead role in developing, implementing, and reporting the operational safety initiatives of the company.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Fleet Management vendor to efficiently oversee and direct all contracted functions such as license & title management, inventory management, vehicle acquisition, disposal, etc.,
  • Ensure standard operating procedures maintain relevance while providing cost savings and fleet efficiencies by advocating industry best practices
  • Perform monthly and quarterly review of vehicle records, performance, and reporting analytics
  • Monitor and ensure fleet operation compliance with local and state rules and regulations
  • Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures and analyze all financial objectives
  • Ensure memorialization of annual budget, assumptions, and analysis for use by organizational stakeholders
  • Participate in various workshops and educational programs and maintain knowledge on industry relevant publications
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies
  • Collaborate with the company’s Risk and National RTM Departments to implement and maintain safety programs for RTM Department field associates that adequately addresses the type of work performed by Invitation Homes associates

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years related experience in a similar role

  • Effectively communicate through written and verbal means

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate and to get along with others
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to use general office equipment such as telephone, fax machine, printer, and copier
  • Results oriented

Required Licenses or Certifications

  • Current driver’s license and automobile insurance

Other Requirements

  • Must maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis
  • Travel may be required

Physical and Mental Demands

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate. Work Environment

Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $71,925.00 - $124,670.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
