The National Manager, Rehab & Turn is responsible for leading, developing, and managing processes, programs, systems and team members required to effectively and consistently execute the company’s single-family rental home rehab and turn operations.
What You’ll Do
Support national market teams as a subject matter expert for all systems, processes, and programs used in Rehab and Turn operations. This includes training, coaching, and mentoring associates.
Manage, lead, and support National Rehab and Turn programs and/or cross-functional projects
Support the optimization of existing Rehab and Turn technology systems and processes by identifying opportunities to introduce controls and remove inefficiencies
Assist with the management of timelines and reporting for all aspects of the make ready process
Monitor operational exceptions, financial expenses, trends, and budget to support local teams in maintaining data integrity and balancing financial objectives against home quality and resident experience standards
Educate, coach, and mentor other National RTM team members to maximize their growth and development
Participate in the interview and selection process for new team members
Lead and/or actively support initiatives aligned with meeting all corporate and RTM objectives
Collaborate with other corporate departments including, but not limited to, Risk Management, Procurement, Property Management, Leasing, Accounting, Human Resources, Technology, and Investment Management Group (IMG)
Foster a friendly and open work environment in all internal and external interactions
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of relevant experience in project management, purchasing and residential construction, including reviewing bids/estimates and change orders
2+ years of management/supervisory experience
Analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other business applications (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau, Yardi)
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task
