Are you a dynamic sales leader with a passion for driving performance and leading high-impact teams?   The Leasing Director role is a strategic sales leader responsible for providing management, direction and leadership to ensure the Company’s leasing experience functions are operated consistently and effectively across all assets.   This role involves, but is not limited to, participating in new initiatives to drive process efficiency and resident experience, supporting daily operational questions from our field associates, and ensuring reporting and metrics are developed and maintained for performance tracking. The overall objective of the role is to provide national support to both field associates and national associates to ensure business processes are developed, utilized, and supported for all assets.   The Leasing Director will be a hands-on sales leader who will champion a culture of accountability, motivation, and results, ensuring every Leasing Specialist is equipped and inspired to deliver exceptional outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all leasing functions, partnering with the VP of Leasing to set vision and strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with field teams and market leadership to ensure alignment, clear communication, and consistent execution of sales-driven initiatives that drive the leasing business.

  • Execute strategies to optimize leasing workflows and drive performance. Build and maintain reporting on leasing functions as requested.  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build reporting tools in Tableau, Yardi, and Salesforce to track results and support continuous improvement. Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and adjust tactics to stay ahead of market conditions and exceed goals

  • Support field office leadership with obtaining approvals, when required for items related to Leasing such as promotions/incentives. 

  • Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and field offices to ensure consistent implementation of leasing and renewal strategies and initiatives.  Provide actionable insights to leadership and field teams to accelerate results.

  • Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting leasing and property management, and when changes are implemented for Invitation Homes, provide updates and details on necessary policy and procedure adjustments to ownership.   

  • Participate and drive execution in technology initiatives across all technology verticals for leasing initiatives.  Lead execution of any deployment or ongoing daily management of leasing technology. 

  • Collaborate with corporate departments such as Marketing and Legal to provide input and support implementation of changes relative to leasing & renewal functions. 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in sales leadership, preferably in real estate or property management.

  • Ability to motivate teams, set clear goals, and deliver measurable results.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM and reporting platforms.

  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field preferred.

  • Five or more years of experience in the field of property management

  • Three or more years of experience in leasing or renewals related roles preferred.

  • Yardi or similar Property Management software experience required.

  • Salesforce experience a plus.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft products including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including advanced functions).

  • Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, and copier.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Comprehension of federal fair housing laws, fair credit reporting and any applicable local housing provisions.

  • Ability to present or speak in public to large groups of people.

  • Must be proactive, self-directed and highly motivated.

  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions.

  • Ability to analyze processes and resolve problems.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $98,775.00 - $171,210.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
